Rain Alert Issued for Over 15 States Including Delhi-Haryana, Possibility of Hailstorms in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, IMD Alert

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has once again issued a rain alert for several states across the country. Some areas may also experience hailstorms.

The weather across the nation has been witnessing significant changes lately. While the rainfall has brought relief from scorching heat for many, it has also led to damage from hailstorms and strong winds. Parts of the capital city Delhi witnessed heavy rainfall and gusty winds over the weekend, providing respite from the heat.

The IMD has released an update regarding the weather. According to the information, the weather pattern is expected to remain the same in the coming days. A spell of rain is anticipated in western and northern India over the next 24 to 48 hours.

IMD Weather Update

As per the IMD report, rainfall is expected in northwest India on April 15th. Similar weather conditions are anticipated on April 16th as well. A western disturbance became active in northwest India on April 12th, leading to continuous cloud cover, with winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

Duration of the Disturbance

According to the information, the impact of this western disturbance will be observed until April 18th or 19th. Until then, cool winds will prevail, and temperatures will not rise above 40 degrees Celsius. After April 18th, a gradual increase in temperature is expected. However, despite rising temperatures, there is a possibility of rainfall in several states.
