Holiday on Voting Day

Employees working in the National Capital Region (NCR) will be granted leave according to their voting dates. This means voters from cities in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan will receive leave on their respective voting dates. Similarly, voters from neighboring cities working in Delhi will be granted leave according to their voting dates. It’s worth noting that voting in Delhi will take place on May 25th.

Leave in Madhya Pradesh

In addition to Delhi, several other states have also issued orders for leave on voting days. In various districts of Madhya Pradesh, schools and offices will remain closed on voting days. On April 19th, holidays will be observed in Sidhi, Jabalpur, Balaghat, Mandla, and Chhindwara. On April 26th, holidays will be observed in Damoh, Khajuraho, Tikamgarh, Rewa, Satna, Betul, and Hoshangabad. Similarly, on May 7th, holidays will be observed in Bhind, Gwalior, Guna, Ujjain, Bhopal, Sagar, Morena, and Rajgarh. Additionally, on May 13th, holidays will be observed in Mandsaur, Ujjain, Dewas, Dhar, Ratlam, Khandwa, Indore, and Khargone.
