According to the official notification, there are vacancies for Principal (110 positions), PGT Physics (25 positions), PGT Chemistry (25 positions), PGT Biology (22 positions), PGT Mathematics (35 positions), PGT Commerce (17 positions), PGT Computer Science (156 positions), TGT English (255 positions), TGT Science (92 positions), TGT Mathematics (169 positions), TGT Social Studies (104 positions), Computer Teacher (83 positions), Art Teacher (160 positions), and PET Teacher (89 positions). The total number of vacancies is 1342.
Eligibility Criteria
- For the position of Principal, candidates must have a Master’s degree with 45% marks from a recognized university, along with a B.Ed degree recognized by NCTE.
- For PGT Teacher positions, candidates must have a PG degree with 50% marks for 2 years, along with a B.Ed degree.
- For TGT Teacher positions, candidates must have a 4-year integrated course degree.
- For PET Teacher positions, candidates must have a degree in Physical Education.
- B.E/B.Tech degree holders can apply for Computer Teacher positions.
- Candidates applying for Art Teacher positions must have a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or Visual Arts.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for Principal positions is 50 years, with a minimum of 32 years. For other positions, candidates must be between 21 to 38 years old. Candidates are advised to check the official notification for additional information regarding qualifications and age limits.
Selection Process and Salary
Candidates will be selected based on a computer-based test, interview, and performance test.
- Principal: Level 13, with a salary of Rs. 67,700
- PGT Teacher: Level 11, with a salary of Rs. 47,600
- TGT/Art Teacher: Level 9, with a salary of Rs. 44,900
- PET and Computer Teacher: Level 9, with a salary of Rs. 35,400
