Fluctuations in Fuel Prices: Changes in Rates Across MP Cities and Other States on March 23

On March 23, fuel prices witnessed fluctuations in several states, including Madhya Pradesh (MP). Let’s explore where fuel has become cheaper and where it has become more expensive.

In the global market, there has been a decrease in crude oil prices, with crude oil prices falling below $86 per barrel once again. WTI crude is trading at $80.63 per barrel, while Brent crude is at $85.43 per barrel.

New rates for petrol and diesel have been implemented across various states today

Bihar, Goa, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana have seen a slight increase in petrol and diesel prices. However, a reduction in prices has been observed in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and West Bengal.

In Delhi the price of petrol stands at Rs 94.76 per liter, and diesel is priced at Rs 87.66 per liter. Mumbai witnesses petrol prices at Rs 104.19 per liter and diesel at Rs 92.13 per liter. Chennai and Kolkata also experienced fluctuations in fuel prices.

In MP various cities have witnessed changes in fuel prices. Cities like Ashoknagar, Anuppur, Badwani, Balaghat, Bhopal, Dewas, Indore, Jabalpur, Kharagpur, Neemuch, Panna, Raisen, Rajgarh, Rewa, Sagar, Satna, Seoni, Shahdol, Shajapur, Shivpuri, Singrauli, Tikamgarh, and Vidisha have seen a slight increase in fuel rates. Meanwhile, cities like Sidhi, Ratlam, Narsinghpur, Morena, Khandwa, Katni, Hoshangabad, Gwalior, Damoh, Chhatarpur, Burhanpur, Bhind, Betul, Agar Malwa, and Alirajpur have witnessed a decrease in fuel prices.

In cities like Bhopal petrol is priced at Rs 106.57 per liter, while diesel is at Rs 91.94 per liter. In Indore, petrol costs Rs 106.52 per liter, and diesel is priced at Rs 91.92 per liter. Jabalpur sees petrol prices at Rs 106.94 and diesel at Rs 91.93 per liter. In Rewa, petrol is priced at Rs 109.29 per liter, and diesel costs Rs 94.45 per liter. Additionally, in Anuppur, Balaghat, and Shahdol, petrol is priced at more than Rs 109 per liter, with diesel prices exceeding Rs 94 per liter. Ujjain witnesses petrol at Rs 106.82 per liter and diesel at Rs 92.19 per liter, while Gwalior has petrol priced at Rs 106.40 per liter and diesel at Rs 91.78 per liter.
