Petrol and Diesel Price Today, Fluctuations in Fuel Prices Across States Including Madhya Pradesh

On March 30th, 2024, there have been changes in the prices of petrol and diesel in several states, including Madhya Pradesh. It’s important to note that fuel prices vary in different cities due to the imposition of VAT by state governments. Today, minor increases have been observed in Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. On the other hand, reductions have been noted in Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Goa, Bihar, Assam, and Andhra Pradesh.

Significant Surge in Crude Oil Prices

In the global market, Brent crude has surged by 1.86% to reach $87 per barrel, while WTI crude is trading at $83.17 per barrel with a rise of 2.24%.

Fuel Prices in Major Cities

In New Delhi, the price of petrol stands at ₹94.72, in Mumbai at ₹104.21, in Kolkata at ₹103.54, and in Chennai at ₹100.75 per liter. For diesel, the prices are ₹87.62 in New Delhi, ₹92.15 in Mumbai, ₹90.76 in Kolkata, and ₹92.32 in Chennai per liter.

Current Scenario in Madhya Pradesh

On March 30th, fluctuations have been observed in several cities of Madhya Pradesh. While cities like Alirajpur, Agar Malwa, Badwani, Bhopal, Chhatarpur, Chhindwara, Dhar, Harda, Katni, Neemuch, Panna, Sagar, Sehore, Seoni, Shajapur, Sidhi, and Umaria have witnessed an increase, others like Vidisha, Ujjain, Tikamgarh, Singrauli, Shivpuri, Satna, Ratlam, Raeesen, Mandsaur, Khargone, Khandwa, Jabalpur, Indore, Hoshangabad, Guna, Dewas, Burhanpur, Bhind, Betul, Balaghat, and Ashok Nagar have experienced a slight reduction.

In the capital city of Bhopal, the price of petrol has surged to ₹106.47 per liter. In other major cities like Indore, Jabalpur, Rewa, Gwalior, and Ujjain, the prices stand at ₹106.48, ₹106.50, ₹108.87, ₹106.40, and ₹106.64 per liter, respectively.
