In the 15th match of IPL 2024, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) faced off against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Lucknow secured a commanding victory over Bangalore by defeating them at their home ground by 28 runs.

RCB had a target of 182 runs to chase
However, they fell short and managed to score only 153 runs in 19.4 overs. Mahipal Lomror was the top scorer for RCB with 33 runs off 13 balls, followed by Rajat Patidar with 29 runs and Virat Kohli with 22 runs.
Mayank Yadav was the most successful bowler for Lucknow
Taking 3 wickets for just 14 runs in 4 overs. Siddharth and Stoinis also contributed with 1 wicket each. On the other hand, Glenn Maxwell took 2 wickets for RCB, while Reece Topley, Yash Dayal, and Mohammed Siraj claimed 1 wicket each.
Lucknow’s innings saw Quinton de Kock’s impressive performance, scoring 81 runs off 56 balls. Nicholas Pooran also contributed with 40 runs off 21 balls. However, RCB’s bowling attack couldn’t contain Lucknow’s strong batting lineup.
Lucknow’s win against RCB has further solidified their position in the tournament, while RCB will be looking to bounce back from this defeat in their upcoming matches.
