Gill’s unbeaten knock of 89 runs off 48 balls, including 6 fours and 4 towering sixes, propelled him into the top 5 in the race for the Orange Cap. He now holds the fourth position in this list, becoming the fourth Indian to achieve this feat. Currently, Virat Kohli leads this race.
Following Gill’s outstanding performance
he has scored a total of 164 runs in four matches, while his teammate Sai Sudarshan is at the fifth position with 160 runs. However, Gill and Sudarshan’s run-scoring exploits have pushed Delhi Capitals’ captain Rishabh Pant down to the sixth position.
