Meta recently released an update for Facebook Messenger, as communicated through its blog post. The company revealed that users will now have the option to send photos in HD quality. Additionally, a new feature has been added where users can simply scan a QR code to add friends on Facebook Messenger.
How to Send HD Photos on Facebook Messenger
To use this new update on Facebook, you need to first update the app. After updating, open the Facebook Messenger app on your phone. Navigate to the chat of the person you want to send the photo to. In the chat window, you’ll see an HD toggle. Turn on this HD toggle. Once turned on, you can send any person an HD photo.
Sharing Albums with Friends
Facebook users can now also share albums with their friends. Open the Facebook Messenger app. Go to the chat of any contact and open a chat with a friend. Here, you’ll find an option to create an album name along with the chat box. Users can select multiple photos to share at once.
With these updates, Facebook aims to enhance the user experience by enabling seamless sharing of high-quality photos and albums among friends.
