Vidya said that success in the film industry is not solely dependent on familial connections. If it were, many star kids would be successful. She further stated, “Whether there is nepotism or not, I am here. This industry doesn’t belong to anyone’s father, otherwise every father’s son, every father’s daughter would be successful.”
Vidya made her debut in 2005
Vidya Balan is not from a film family. She made her Bollywood debut with the film “Parineeta” in 2005. Since then, she has won fans’ hearts with her stellar performances in several hit films. However, before entering films, Vidya had also appeared in several TV shows.
