Police Investigating Whether Law Student Akriti’s Death a Homicide or Suicide

The police are currently investigating whether the death of Akriti Bhadauria, a law student at Amity University in Gwalior, who fell from the fort, was a homicide or a suicide. The police have initiated an investigation, although they have not yet determined the exact cause of death. Based on complaints from relatives and statements from other individuals present at the scene of the incident at the fort, the police have taken several other young men and women, including Akriti, into custody for questioning. Today, the police conducted a post-mortem examination of Akriti’s body and handed it over to her relatives.

According to information received, Akriti Bhadauria was a student of BBA LLB, and her father is a security officer at the Ministry of Home Affairs. She was studying in Gwalior while residing here. Her uncle, Rupendra Singh Bhadauria, stated that she had gone to college yesterday, and how she reached the fort is unknown to us. We learned about it when the police called us at home.

Relatives allege that Akriti’s boyfriend, along with his friends, murdered her.

They alleged that their daughter was murdered by her boyfriend, who conspired with his friends to throw her down from the fort, i.e., they killed her. On the basis of suspicion, the police have taken some suspects, including the boyfriend, into custody.

It has come to light during the initial investigation that Akriti had a dispute with her boyfriend at the time of the incident, and he was also present there. The argument between them took place near the Sahastrabahu Temple at the fort, where other people were also present, who have confirmed this to the police. After this incident, the police found Akriti’s body with the help of locals.
