Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Congress leader Jitu Patwari has claimed that the Congress party will win 4 out of the 6 seats in the first phase of voting. He accused the BJP government of misusing state power, intimidation, and misuse of governance. Patwari alleged that Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya stayed full-time in Chhindwara, intimidating and threatening people, and issuing notices, not just in Chhindwara but across the entire state.
The first phase of voting is scheduled for April 19 in constituencies including Sidhi, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat, and Chhindwara
Both Congress and BJP have put in their full effort, awaiting the outcome of the voting. Speaking to the media, Congress state president Jitu Patwari claimed that Congress will win 4 out of these 6 seats and accused the BJP of misusing governance.
Reminding voters of BJP’s past promises
Patwari said that Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and the entire BJP had promised to provide Rs. 15 lakhs, fair prices for farmers’ wheat and rice, and Rs. 3,000 per month to sisters, but none of these promises were fulfilled. He urged voters to vote against BJP if prosperity has not reached their homes because it’s time for BJP to lose.
Accusing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya of intimidating and threatening people, Patwari alleged that the BJP government misused state power, intimidated people, and issued notices. He claimed that this happened not only in Chhindwara but across the entire state.
