The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (Vyapam) has brought significant updates for candidates appearing for various entrance exams in 2024. Modifications have been made to the exam dates due to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Although Vyapam has released the tentative exam dates, the application process dates and other details have not been provided yet, which will be announced later. It is anticipated that due to the Lok Sabha elections, the delay in conducting the exams might result in the results and counseling taking place in August and September.
Here’s when each exam will take place according to the new modified calendar
- Previously, the Pre-Engineering Test (PET) was scheduled for June 6, 2024, which has now been rescheduled to June 13, 2024.
- The Pre-MCA exam, which was supposed to take place on May 30, 2024, will now be held on June 13, 2024.
- The Pre-Pharmacy Test (PPHT), initially scheduled for June 6, 2024, will now be conducted on June 13, 2024.
- The Pre-Polytechnic Test (PPT) will take place on June 23, 2024, and the dates for PT/PEPT have also been rescheduled to June 16, 2024.
- The Pre-B.Ed. and Pre-B.Sc. B.Ed. exams, which were initially scheduled for June 13, will now be held on June 15, 2024.
- The date for the PV&FT exam, initially set for June 23, has been changed, and it will now be conducted on June 16, 2024, in the morning.
- The PT and TET exams for classes one to five will be held in the morning, while for classes six to eight, the TET will be conducted in the evening.
- The B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. exams, which were supposed to take place on June 2, have also been rescheduled to June 30, 2024. The B.Ed. exam will be conducted in the morning, and the D.El.Ed. entrance exam will be held in the evening.
- The entrance exam dates for Post Basic Nursing and MSC Nursing, initially set for May 30, have also been changed. Now, candidates will take the Post Basic Nursing exam in the morning and the MSC Nursing exam in the evening on July 7, 2024.
- The Post Basic Nursing exam will be held in the morning, and the MSC Nursing entrance exam will be conducted in the evening on June 13, 2024.
- The entrance exam for BSc Nursing, initially scheduled for June 13, will now take place in the morning on July 7, 2024.
