As the first phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 begins today, Google has made some changes to commemorate this occasion. In order to mark this celebration of democracy, Google has created a special doodle. The doodle for the first phase of voting features an inkpot with a voting mark on the hand. Google’s unique doodle is inspiring people to go out and vote. Through its doodle, Google is raising awareness about the importance of voting.

Google frequently creates doodles to provide information about ongoing events and occasions around the world. Prior to the Lok Sabha elections, Google also created a doodle for International Women’s Day.
Voting for the first phase is taking place on 102 seats across 21 states and union territories
This Lok Sabha election will be conducted in seven phases. The voting for the first phase is scheduled for April 19, followed by subsequent phases on April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25, and June 1. The results of the Lok Sabha elections will be announced on June 4.
