Speaking to Hindustan Times
Rajkumar expressed amusement at the debate, stating, “I saw that photo, and it looked absolutely real. I don’t have flawless skin like that. It genuinely struck me, believe me, I started looking like a K-pop star.” Additionally, he acknowledged that he’s no longer the 21-year-old he once was, indicating that people have always commented on his appearance from the beginning of his career.
Reflecting on past experiences
Rao recalled how casting directors and producers used to tell him that he lacked the certain look required for lead roles. However, he noted a shift in perception after using fillers for the first time eight years ago. “I felt a difference, suddenly people began telling me that I exuded confidence,” Rao said, emphasizing his willingness to embrace confidence-boosting measures.
In terms of his upcoming projects, Rajkumar Rao is set to appear in the biographical film “Shrikant,” scheduled for release on May 10. Additionally, he will star alongside Janhvi Kapoor in the film “Mr. and Mrs. Mahi.
