Oil companies have released the updated rates for petrol and diesel. Significant changes have been observed in various districts of Madhya Pradesh, including Indore, Ujjain, and others.
Price Hike in MP Cities
On April 24, fuel prices saw a notable increase in several districts of Madhya Pradesh. In Devaas, the fuel rates witnessed a hike of more than one rupee. Similarly, Ashok Nagar, Badwani, Bhind, Burhanpur, Chhatarpur, Chhindwara, Datia, Dhar, Indore, Jabalpur, Jhabua, Khandwa, and Vidisha also experienced an escalation in fuel prices.
Price Decrease in Some MP Cities
Conversely, a decrease in fuel prices was noted in various cities across Madhya Pradesh. Cities like Alirajpur, Agar Malwa, Anuppur, Balaghat, Betul, Dindori, Harda, Hoshangabad, Morena, Rajgarh, Rayasen, Sehore, Seoni, Shivpuri, Sidhi, and Ujjain witnessed a decline in fuel rates.
Fuel Rates in the State
In Bhopal, the price of one liter of petrol stands at Rs. 106.47, while diesel is priced at Rs. 91.84 per liter. Other cities like Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Rewa, and Ujjain recorded petrol prices at Rs. 106.50, Rs. 106.40, Rs. 106.76, Rs. 109.06, and Rs. 106.47 per liter respectively. For diesel, the prices in these cities were recorded as Rs. 91.90, Rs. 92.13, Rs. 91.78, Rs. 94.24, and Rs. 91.87 per liter respectively.
Changes in Other States
Furthermore, on Wednesday, minor increases were witnessed in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Punjab, Telangana, and West Bengal. Conversely, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Odisha, Manipur, Maharashtra, Kerala, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh experienced a decrease in fuel prices.
Crude Oil Prices
The global market continues to witness fluctuations in crude oil prices. Currently, Brent crude is trading at $88.46 per barrel, while WTI crude is priced at $83.43 per barrel.
