Petrol and Diesel Prices Update, Rise in Rates in Several Districts of Madhya Pradesh Including Balaghat and Tikamgarh on May 2

On May 2, there has been a change in the prices of petrol and diesel in several districts of Madhya Pradesh. While there is a decrease in fuel rates in Bhopal, there has been an increase observed in districts like Balaghat.

Global Market Trends

The price of crude oil in the global market has fallen below $85 per barrel. As of May 2, the price of Brent crude is $83.88 per barrel, and WTI crude is $79.43 per barrel. Oil companies have updated the new rates for petrol and diesel accordingly.

Price Changes in Madhya Pradesh

In Balaghat, there has been an increase of more than one rupee in fuel prices. Additionally, several districts in Madhya Pradesh have witnessed a hike. This list includes Agar Malwa, Anuppur, Betul, Burhanpur, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Jabalpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Mandla, Raisen, Satna, Seoni, Shahdol, Sidhi, Tikamgarh, and Vidisha.

Decrease in Prices in Some Districts

However, there has been a decrease in fuel rates in districts like Shivpuri by more than one rupee. Other districts including Alirajpur, Badwani, Bhind, Bhopal, Datia, Dewas, Dhar, Jhabua, Katni, Mandsaur, Narsinghpur, Neemuch, Panna, Rajgarh, Ratlam, Rewa, Sehore, and Shajapur have also witnessed a reduction in fuel prices.

Fuel Prices in Madhya Pradesh

As of now, the price of petrol in Bhopal has reduced to Rs. 106.28 per liter. In other cities, the prices are as follows: Indore – Rs. 106.50, Gwalior – Rs. 106.40, Jabalpur – Rs. 106.88, Rewa – Rs. 108.87, and Ujjain – Rs. 106.96 per liter. On the other hand, diesel prices in Bhopal stand at Rs. 91.67 per liter, Balaghat – Rs. 94.57, Indore – Rs. 91.89, Jabalpur – Rs. 92.24, Rewa – Rs. 94.06, and Ujjain – Rs. 92.30 per liter.
