As the fourth phase of voting unfolds in Madhya Pradesh today, marking the culmination of elections in the state, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has cast his vote in his hometown of Ujjain. Alongside exercising his electoral right, he has once again expressed confidence in BJP’s victory, asserting that the party will win all 29 seats in the state.
CM Mohan Yadav’s Voting Appeal
In a heartfelt appeal to the public, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav urged citizens to utilize their voting rights for the sake of a robust democracy. Through a social media post, he emphasized the significance of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections and the final phase of voting in Madhya Pradesh. He humbly requested esteemed voters from Lok Sabha constituencies such as Dewas, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Dhar, Indore, Kharagpur, and Khargone to ensure their participation, aiming for a 100% voter turnout. Yadav stressed that each vote holds the potential to strengthen democracy and shape a brighter future for the nation.
Father’s Blessings and BJP’s Victory Claim
Prior to casting his vote, Chief Minister Yadav sought his father’s blessings, a traditional gesture symbolizing respect and reverence. Post-voting, he reiterated his confidence in BJP’s triumph, affirming that the party will secure all 29 seats in the state.
Current Scenario of Voting
Today’s voting in Malwa and Nimar regions encompasses polling across 8 constituencies. A total of 74 candidates are vying for the electorate’s favor, with 1,63,70,654 voters exercising their franchise. While BJP has voiced assurance of victory on all 29 seats, Congress anticipates a significant presence on 10 to 15 seats. In Indore, where voting is underway, Congress has urged citizens to opt for NOTA (None of the Above), after their candidate Akshay Kanti Bam withdrew from the race and joined BJP, leading to a perceived BJP advantage.
As Madhya Pradesh witnesses the culmination of its electoral process, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s appeal resonates with the essence of democracy – the power vested in the hands of the people. Amidst claims and counterclaims, the final outcome remains in the hands of the electorate, symbolizing the true spirit of democratic governance.
