In many cultures, the belief in the influence of negative energies or Kali Shakti is deeply rooted. Sudden restlessness and feelings of unease may arise when someone is believed to be under the influence of such forces. This phenomenon is not restricted to married couples; it can extend to children and even impact one’s physical and mental well-being.
Identifying Signs of Kali Shakti: When a newlywed bride or anyone else is suspected to be affected by Kali Shakti, various signs may manifest. For children, crying without apparent reason and resisting attempts to calm them down could be indicative of negative energy. In adults, physical ailments such as stomach pain and stumbling while walking may be observed.
Remedy:To determine if someone is affected by Kali Shakti, a traditional totka (remedy) can be performed. Take a few dried red chili peppers, mustard seeds, and a pinch of rock salt. Rotate the ingredients clockwise in a pan or plate while facing south, then rotate them counterclockwise in the opposite direction three times. Finally, mix these ingredients and place them in a glass of water.
Another totka involves using rock salt to dispel laziness and irritability. Sprinkle a little rock salt over yourself while rotating clockwise in the south direction and then counterclockwise in the opposite direction. Submerge the salt-coated self in a glass of water. According to ancient traditions, the amalgamation of salt and water neutralizes negative energies.
Addressing Prolonged Sickness in the Family: If a family member has been unwell for an extended period, it might be an indication of an underlying issue. To alleviate such situations, fetch water from a nearby sea, pond, or lake. On Tuesday, place water in a white cloth and spread it around different rooms in the house. If Tuesday is inconvenient, Friday or full moon day can also be considered. Alternatively, burning coconut husks at home may serve as an effective remedy.
While totkas are deeply rooted in cultural beliefs, it’s essential to approach them with an open mind and respect for individual perspectives. Whether for the well-being of a new bride, children, or the family at large, these traditional practices aim to dispel negative energies and foster positive environments. Always remember that these rituals are symbolic, and seeking professional advice for any persistent issues is crucial for overall well-being.
