Government News: Haryana Vidhan Sabha Implements Dress Code, Government Employees to Showcase a Fresh Look

Amidst the ongoing budget session in Haryana Vidhan Sabha, the atmosphere within the legislative assembly is witnessing a transformative change. The reason behind this shift in ambiance is the implementation of a dress code for the employees working in the assembly.

Changing Colors of Vidhan Sabha

The Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha, Dr. Gyan Chand Gupta, has introduced a dress code, significantly altering the visual appeal of the legislative assembly. This dress code is applicable to employees ranging from the fourth category to the first category.

Dress Code for Various Categories

Earlier, a dress code was defined for employees and officials working in the parliament, but certain employees were exempted from its enforcement. The first-category officers will be required to wear formal pants and shirts with a tie during the summer and a blazer during winters.

Uniform Expenses

It has been revealed that these officers bear the expenses of their uniforms themselves. First-category male officers will wear formal pants and shirts with ties during summers, while during winters, they will wear a blazer paired with a navy blue tie.

Dress Code for Other Categories

The second-category male officers will wear white shirts with grey pants during summers and grey pants with a navy blue blazer and tie during winters. Female officers in the same category will be required to wear green suits with a dupatta in summers and beige blazers or cardigans with grey pants during winters.

Dress Code for Group B and C

Moving down the hierarchy, women in Group B will wear a sky-blue suit with a dupatta during summers and a beige blazer or cardigan during winters. Similarly, male employees in Group C will don off-white shirts with grey-blue pants during summers and grey-blue blazers with grey pants during winters.

Modernizing the Legislative Atmosphere

The introduction of a dress code in Haryana Vidhan Sabha is not just about aesthetics; it reflects an effort to modernize and standardize the working environment within the legislative assembly. The dress code ensures a uniform and professional appearance of the government employees, creating a sense of discipline and cohesion.

The implementation of a dress code in Haryana Vidhan Sabha symbolizes a progressive step towards enhancing the work culture and visual appeal of the legislative assembly. This move is not just about changing the colors of attire; it signifies a change in the work ethos, promoting a more disciplined and professional environment.
