MG Motor India has launched the Shine Pro and Select Pro variants of the highly sought-after SUV, Hector. The showroom price for the new Hector Shine Pro is INR 15,99,800, while the Hector Select Pro is priced at INR 17,29,800. These mid-sized SUVs boast bold exteriors, new features, enhanced safety and driving experiences, along with unique design elements.
Key Features of MG Hector Shine Pro and Select Pro
Both variants of the MG Hector come equipped with a 14-inch HD portrait infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and wireless charging. They feature LED projector headlamps, floating light turn indicators, LED blade-connected tail lamps, chrome on external door handles, all-black theme interior, premium upholstery, leather-wrapped steering, digital instrument cluster, push-button engine start/stop, and a segment-first digital Bluetooth key.
Safety Features
The new variants include several safety features such as cruise control, electronic parking brakes, electronic stability program, traction control system, hill hold control, EBD with ABS, brake assist, all-seat belt reminder, follow-me headlamps, cornering front fog lamps, front and rear defogger, speed-sensing auto door lock, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and high-speed warning alert. The Select Pro variant offers additional features like 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, while the Shine Pro comes with 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

MG Motor India has introduced the Shine Pro and Select Pro variants under the MG Shield after-sales service option. According to Gaurav Gupta, Deputy Managing Director of MG Motor India, since its launch in 2019, the Hector has resonated with customers due to its bold statements, multiple tech features, connected features, and the Level 2 advanced driver assistance system. The starting price for the MG Hector in the Indian market is now INR 13.99 lakh.
