The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made a major announcement concerning the practical exams for the 10th and 12th grades. The board has extended the dates for conducting practical exams, projects, and uploading internal assessment scores on the portal. Schools now have until March 31, 2024, to complete these tasks, as stated in the official notice available on the board’s website.
Extended Deadline
The CBSE has extended the deadline for uploading practical exam scores, project works, and internal assessments to the Sangam portal. Schools are granted additional time until March 31, 2024, to complete these tasks.
Last Opportunity for Schools
According to the notice, several schools have not yet organized practical exams, projects, internal assessments, and are requesting more time from the board to upload scores. The extended deadline until March 31 serves as the final opportunity for schools to fulfill these requirements.
Completion of Tasks
Schools are urged to promptly conduct practical exams and ensure the timely uploading of scores on the portal. The efficient completion of these tasks is crucial for the academic progress of students.
Board Exams Schedule
The board exams for the 10th and 12th grades commenced on February 15 and will conclude on April 2. The 10th-grade board exam will finish on March 13, while the 12th-grade exam will end on April 2. Approximately 39 million students are expected to appear for the exams this year.
Initial Instructions
The CBSE had initially directed all schools to conduct practical exams and upload scores on the Sangam portal from January 1 to February 14. However, some schools faced challenges in completing these tasks within the specified timeframe.
With the board exams in full swing, schools are now on their last chance to fulfill the practical exam requirements. The extended deadline aims to facilitate a smooth and timely completion of these essential tasks, ensuring the fairness and accuracy of assessments for all students participating in the 2024 CBSE exams.
