Before the IPL 2024 begins on March 22nd, Ashwin has contacted the Chennai Super Kings, expressing his desire to obtain tickets for his children for the opening match at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Taking to social media platform, X, Ashwin wrote, “Demanding tickets for the opener of IPL 2024 at Chepauk from CSK and RCB is beyond belief. My kids want to witness the opening ceremony and the match. Chennai Super Kings, please help.”

It is worth noting that Ashwin currently plays for the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. Last week, during the Test series against England, Ashwin achieved the milestone of taking 500 wickets.
