CBSE Board Result 2024, Significant Changes Announced

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced several changes in the results of the 10th and 12th board exams this year. These changes aim to reduce the anxiety among students. Let’s take a look at what the result pattern will be like this time:

Three Major Changes in the Result

No Overall Division and Distinction Information

This year, the overall division and distinction information will not be available in the 10th and 12th board exam results. The percentage breakdown will also not be disclosed. Institutions admitting students will have the discretion to consider admission based on the top five subjects. Additionally, the announcement of the board topper will also not be made. CBSE has implemented these changes to alleviate the fear among students and reduce negative competition among them.

Result Declaration

The evaluation of board exam copies is underway.

Based on previous years’ trends, it is estimated that the 12th-grade results may be declared in the last week of May or the first week of June. On the other hand, the evaluation of 10th-grade board exam copies commenced in March, and the results may be announced in May. However, the board has not officially announced any date for the result declaration yet. Once the results are declared, students will be able to check their scores on cbse.gov.in. Additionally, the results will be available on platforms like DigiLocker, UMANG app, and other related platforms.
