The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a new and significant update regarding the CBSE board exam results. According to the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education, https://cbseresults.nic.in/, the results for the 10th and 12th board exams will be declared after May 20th. However, the board has not yet announced any official date for the result declaration.
Earlier, it was estimated that the results would be announced by May 10th. Last year, the results were declared on May 12th. However, this year, students will have to wait a little longer. It is worth mentioning that this year, approximately 39 lakh students appeared for the exams. The 10th-grade exams were conducted from February 15th to March 13th, while the 12th-grade exams concluded on April 2nd, 2024.
How to Check the Result
Students will be able to check their scores in various ways. To download the result, they will need their admit card ID, school number, and roll number. - Firstly, visit the DigiLocker app or website.
- Create your account.
- After logging in, click on the CBSE result link on the homepage.
- Enter the necessary information and check the result.
Information Available in the Result
The CBSE board result will include details of marks obtained in each subject and the maximum marks. It will also indicate the total marks and compartment status. However, this year, the board will not provide information on pass percentage, gender-wise results, and toppers. This means that CBSE has decided not to announce the toppers of the board exams this year.
