Changing Weather Patterns in 15 MP Districts, Yellow Alert for Electrical Storms in 11 Districts

The weather in Madhya Pradesh is undergoing shifts, with intermittent bouts of scorching sunlight and unexpected rainfall, coupled with hailstorms and lightning. Although February is drawing to a close, the impact of the ongoing weather changes is evident. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has indicated the likelihood of a new Western Disturbance becoming active from the night of February 24, affecting the weather once again.

According to the weather report released today by the Bhopal Weather Center of the India Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in the districts of Rewa, Satna, Sidhi, Singrauli, Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Panna, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Guna, Shivpuri, Gwalior, and Datia. Additionally, there is a concern for thunderstorms and turbulence in Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Rewa, Mauganj, Satna, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Gwalior, and Datia districts.

The information provided by the IMD reveals the presence of a trough line between the western disturbances and the prevailing winds of the central hemisphere. Concurrently, the cyclonic circulation above northern Chhattisgarh, active over northeastern Madhya Pradesh, is bringing moisture to the region. The IMD has stated that a trough line extending from southeastern Madhya Pradesh to Tamil Nadu is influencing the weather. The IMD predicts the new Western Disturbance to become active from the night of February 24.
