US Admiral Reveals: China Ramps Up Preparations for Taiwan Seizure by 2027

China has commenced preparations to seize Taiwan by the year 2027, as revealed by a senior admiral of the US Navy. This marks the first time after the Second World War that a country is gearing up on such a massive scale with military and nuclear armament preparations. It is evident that China is steadfast in its plan to invade Taiwan by 2027. According to Admiral John Aquilino, commander of the US Indo-Pacific Command, China has increased its defense budget by 16% in recent years, reaching a staggering $223 billion, despite economic challenges.

Aquilino stated that since he assumed office three years ago, the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has added over 400 fighter jets and 20 large warships to its arsenal. Additionally, China has doubled its stockpile of missiles and cruise missiles. Aquilino emphasized that these developments indicate China’s full commitment to President Xi Jinping’s plan to be fully prepared to seize Taiwan by 2027. The steps taken by the PLA indicate their capability to meet the timeline for the forcible reunification with Taiwan under Xi Jinping’s directives.

China’s Surging Military Spending and Alliance with Russia Raise Global Concerns

China’s military expenditure has seen a significant surge, with investments in modern weapon systems such as hypersonic missiles and fifth-generation fighter jets. The Chinese military can also flex its muscles in the Pacific Ocean with its 340 warships, including new aircraft carriers and nuclear-powered missile submarines. Furthermore, China has aligned itself with Russia, following the conflict in Ukraine, posing an even greater concern for the United States.

Republican lawmaker Mike Rogers expressed concern over China’s unabated military spending, which is now yielding benefits for them. China’s military cooperation with Russia adds another layer of worry for the world. It is a matter of global concern.
