In a significant declaration during the Environmental Conference held in Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the importance of tree plantation and announced that spaces would be made available for planting saplings on special occasions like birthdays. Dr. Yadav highlighted the integral role of nature and plant life in various festivals and events of the Indian Sanatan culture. He underscored the deep connection of Indian traditions with nature, stating that as long as there are forests, life thrives, and life is unsustainable without them.

He expressed that India holds significance globally as it considers the entire world as one family (Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam). Our family is humanity, our thought is peace, and our philosophy is to live harmoniously with nature. Dr. Yadav urged the preservation of trees and announced efforts to provide spaces for those who wish to plant saplings on special occasions.
The conference, organized on the completion of three years of the former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s tree plantation resolution, also witnessed the unveiling of the book ‘Spiritual Anatomy’ by CM Mohan Yadav. The event was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, Cabinet Minister Govind Singh Rajput, lyricist Sameer Anjaan, Padma Bhushan Dr. Anil Joshi, and Kamlesh D. Patel, the head of Heartfulness Institute, along with several environmentalists and dignitaries from the state.
