In a recent rally supporting Congress candidate Kantilal Bhuria in Shivgarh, former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh launched a scathing attack on the BJP and Prime Minister Modi. He stated that the BJP government, powered by a double engine, is only looting the country. Singh accused leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party of becoming brokers and claimed that the BJP government only supports corrupt individuals. He emphasized that the old Sangh Parivar, which used to boast of being honest, has now separated, giving rise to a new Modi family. Singh remarked that those leaving the Congress are free to go, as the party is getting rid of garbage.
BJP Becomes a Washing Machine, Rise of the New Modi Family
Singh further elaborated on his criticism by likening the BJP to a washing machine, suggesting that it cleanses corrupt individuals. He accused individuals of leaving their positions in other parties and joining the BJP to evade legal consequences. Singh highlighted the irony of how these individuals, once labeled dishonest and corrupt, suddenly become honest after joining the BJP. He portrayed the BJP as a machine that turns corrupt individuals into honest ones, effectively becoming a refuge for the corrupt. Singh labeled the BJP as the party of dishonest and corrupt people, essentially becoming the Modi family, synonymous with corruption in India.
Congress Doesn’t Care for Defectors
Addressing concerns about Congress members defecting to other parties, Singh expressed indifference, stating that those who leave are not missed. He reiterated that the Congress is cleansing itself, paving the way for a new generation of leaders. Singh emphasized that the Congress party has a dedicated cadre ready to fight for the people. He declared that the party aims to form a government that prioritizes the welfare of the poor over the interests of wealthy industrialists.
Appeal to the Public
Singh appealed to the public to support the Congress party for a better future. He promised policies that uplift the poor and empower youth with financial support. Singh highlighted the fundamental difference between the Congress and the BJP, emphasizing the Congress’s commitment to creating millions of millionaires from the ranks of the poor, in contrast to the BJP’s favoritism toward the wealthy. He urged the public to choose wisely in the upcoming elections, ensuring a government that works for the people, not the elite.
Digvijay Singh’s remarks reflect the intense political climate surrounding the Lok Sabha Election 2024, where allegations of corruption and promises of a brighter future are at the forefront of political discourse.
