For those passionate about photography, the Global Peace Photo Award 2024 presents an excellent opportunity. Eligibility
The award is sponsored by Edition Lammerhuber, Austria. Entrants are required to submit photos that reflect human efforts towards a peaceful world and showcase beauty and goodness in our lives. The award aims to recognize images that express the idea that our future is peaceful. There are two categories: Single Image Category and Story Category. The Story Category allows submissions of up to 12 photos. Each entry must include a caption of up to 2000 words in English. There is no entry fee for participation.
Prizes
The winner of the Peace Image of the Year will receive a cash prize of €7,000 (approximately 6.2 lakh rupees). The winning photo will be exhibited in the Austrian Parliament for one year. In the Story Category, three winners will be awarded €1,000 each (approximately 89 thousand rupees), and in the Single Picture Category, one winner will receive €1,000. Additionally, the winner of the Children Peace Image of the Year will be awarded €1,000.
