In the Indore market, the price of 18-carat gold is ₹49,210 per 10 grams, 22-carat gold is ₹60,150, and 24-carat gold is ₹65,610. Similarly, in Bhopal, the rates are identical after a jump in the investment limit.
Gold Rates for Today
In the Delhi bullion market, the price of 18-carat gold today is ₹49,295 per 10 grams, Mumbai is ₹49,170, Kolkata is ₹49,170, and Chennai is ₹47,830. The rates for 22-carat gold are ₹60,250 in Delhi, ₹60,100 in Mumbai and Kolkata, and ₹60,900 in Chennai. For 24-carat gold, Delhi is quoting ₹65,710, Mumbai at ₹65,560, Kolkata at ₹65,560, and Chennai at ₹66,440 per 10 grams.
Silver Rates for Today
As for silver, in Delhi, one kilogram is priced at ₹75,000, Mumbai and Kolkata also report the same rate, while Chennai is slightly higher at ₹78,500 per kilogram.

Production of Silver in India
The production of silver in India is relatively low, with major production centers in Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan’s Javar mines, Chitradurga and Bellary in Karnataka, and Guntur, Kurnool, and Kadapa districts in Andhra Pradesh. Due to the high demand for silver, India imports it from countries like Italy, Germany, Belgium, among others, to meet the growing need.
