IAS Transfers in Madhya Pradesh, 5 Officers Reassigned, 3 Given Additional Responsibilities

In yet another administrative reshuffle by the government of Mohan Yadav in Madhya Pradesh, the General Administration Department issued transfer orders for IAS officers on Monday. Five officers have been assigned new responsibilities, and in a notable move, three officers have been given additional duties. The officers receiving new responsibilities include Lokesh Kumar Jatav, who has been appointed as the Secretary of the Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection. He was previously serving as the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes in Indore and the Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Finance Corporation, Indore.

Notable Appointments and Additional Charges for Senior Officers

Sanjay Kumar, the Collector of Shyopur district, has been entrusted with the responsibility of Additional Secretary in the Madhya Pradesh Government. This move is expected to be effective until further orders.

Anurag Choudhary, who was serving as the Additional Secretary in the MP Government, has been appointed as the Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation. Additionally, he has been given the additional charge of Director of Mines and Mining, Directorate of Geology and Mining, Bhopal.

Rajeev Ranjan Meena, who held the position of Managing Director at Madhya Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation, has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary in the government.

Swatantra Kumar Singh, previously serving as the Secretary to the Madhya Pradesh Government, has been appointed as the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes in Indore. Simultaneously, he has been given the additional charge of Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Finance Corporation, Indore.

These transfers come as part of routine administrative measures to ensure efficient governance and bring in fresh perspectives to various departments. The officers, known for their administrative acumen, are expected to contribute significantly to their new roles.
