Kapil Sharma Reveals Shocking Details in ED Inquiry: In a recent ED inquiry regarding financial matters, popular comedian and actor Kapil Sharma has disclosed a significant revelation. Renowned comedian and actor Kapil Sharma, known for his extravagant lifestyle, finds himself entangled not in a show-related matter but in a cheating case involving his collaboration with the accused car designer Dilip Chhabria. Kapil has recently informed the Enforcement Directorate (ED) that Dilip Chhabria, accused of deceiving several celebrities, has also defrauded him.
According to Kapil Sharma, Dilip Chhabria failed to deliver the customized vanity van that Kapil had ordered. The popular comedian has reported to the enforcement authorities that not only did he not receive the van, but also the money he paid for it has not been refunded.
The case has now caught the attention of a special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court, which took cognizance of the complaint on Wednesday. Dilip Chhabria and six other accused have been issued summons to appear before the court on February 26. This case is based on three FIRs filed against the accused, including Kapil Sharma’s official representative Mohammad Hamid’s statement, which is now part of the ED inquiry.
Kapil Sharma’s representative has outlined in the statement given to the ED that Kapil, the sole owner of K9 Productions, had approached Dilip Chhabria in December 2016 to purchase a customized vanity van. Subsequently, in March 2017, a deal was struck between K9 Productions and Dilip Chhabria Design Private Limited (DCDPL) for the delivery of a vanity van at a cost of INR 4.5 crores.
As per the agreement, a payment of INR 5.31 crores was made, but to date, neither the promised vehicle has been delivered nor has the money been refunded. The statement further alleges an attempt to shift blame onto Kapil and the use of illegal means to withdraw the funds.
This case adds another layer to the ongoing legal troubles faced by Dilip Chhabria, who is already entangled in multiple legal battles. The ED inquiry will further shed light on the financial transactions and bring clarity to Kapil Sharma’s claims of being deceived
