During his campaign to garner support for party candidates in the Lok Sabha elections, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a significant announcement. Speaking at a public meeting in Fatehpur Sikri, he declared that after Ayodhya and Varanasi, the Braj region is now also poised for development. He assured the people of this region that they would no longer have to yearn for development.

Yogi Adityanath took a dig at the opposition parties that raised questions about the existence of Lord Rama and Krishna. He highlighted the ongoing development projects, including the construction of an airport in Agra and the implementation of schemes like ‘Har Ghar Nal, Har Ghar Jal’ (tap water in every household). He juxtaposed this with the opposition’s skepticism about the existence of Lord Rama and Krishna, implying their inconsistency.

Appeal to the Public: Don’t Spare Those Who Questioned Ram and Krishna

Appealing to the public, Yogi Adityanath urged them not to spare those who had questioned the existence of Lord Rama and Krishna. He emphasized that those who had criticized the government’s development initiatives and water conservation efforts should not receive any votes.

Condemnation of Previous Governments’ Alleged Nexus with Mafia

He criticized the previous governments for allegedly having connections with mafia elements, contrasting their actions with the current government’s efforts to tackle organized crime. He urged the public to vote for the lotus symbol (BJP’s symbol) and enjoy a five-year break, sarcastically suggesting that they should read prayers at the graves of mafia dons.
