Today marks the continuation of the Lok Sabha elections with the second phase of polling underway across 13 states and union territories, including Madhya Pradesh, for a total of 88 parliamentary seats. In Madhya Pradesh, voting is being conducted for 6 Lok Sabha seats, namely Satna, Rewa, Damoh, Khajuraho, Tikamgarh, and Hoshangabad. Polling on these seats commenced at 7 a.m. and will continue until 6 p.m. Today, a total of 1,11,62,460 voters are exercising their franchise across these 6 constituencies, with provisions made for those with wedding ceremonies to cast their votes without waiting in line.

With Satna having the highest number of candidates and Tikamgarh the lowest, with 7 candidates trying their luck. These 6 seats encompass 47 assembly constituencies across 13 districts of Madhya Pradesh. To facilitate the voting process, 51,312 employees have been deployed, and 12,828 polling stations have been set up, including 2,865 sensitive booths and 178 hyper-sensitive booths.
