Meta Social Media Platforms: WhatsApp Introduces New Feature, Now Share Status on Instagram Alongside Facebook

Meta is striving to integrate all its social media platforms. Consequently, WhatsApp is contemplating a new feature, enabling users to share WhatsApp statuses on Instagram as well.

Integration with Instagram

Android users will soon receive a new feature on their phones. This feature will facilitate users in sharing their statuses conveniently. With this new feature, WhatsApp statuses can now be shared on Instagram, offering users a new experience and saving their time. Users will no longer need to switch between different apps repeatedly.

Rollout and Testing

This new feature of WhatsApp was already available in the iOS version. Now, Meta is preparing to launch it for Android users as well. Before rolling out any new features of WhatsApp, they are thoroughly tested in the beta version. Recently, users have become aware of this new feature through the Android Beta version. Users can now share their statuses across multiple social media platforms from one place.

Previously Available for Facebook

WhatsApp had already rolled out this feature for Facebook with its recent updates. Users could share their WhatsApp statuses on Facebook, but this feature was not available for Instagram. Now, it has been introduced for Instagram as well, allowing users to share statuses on both Facebook and Instagram simultaneously. However, sharing WhatsApp statuses on Facebook and Instagram remains optional, giving users the choice to refrain from sharing if they wish.
