MPPSC Recruitment 2024: Important Announcement Regarding 2 Recruitment Exams

The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released a crucial notification for candidates regarding two recruitment exams. It is imperative for candidates to be aware of the details, as vacancies are available for various positions across different subjects.

Homoeopathy Senior Medical Officer/Specialist Selection Exam

The MPPSC has issued a notification announcing the cancellation of candidature for the positions of Senior Medical Officer in Homoeopathy and Specialist in Homoeopathy. This decision was made due to various reasons, including failure to submit documents on time. Candidates who wish to contest this decision can file an objection within 10 days from April 19, 2024.

Additional Subjects Added to State Eligibility Test (SET) 2024

In addition to the subjects previously announced, the MPPSC has included four additional subjects for the State Eligibility Test (SET) 2024. These subjects are Computer Science and Applications (Subject Code 22), Defence and Strategic Studies (Subject Code 23), Music (Subject Code 24), and Earth Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences (Subject Code 25). The application process for these additional subjects will commence from April 23, 2024. The last date for online application submission is May 9, 2024, until 12:00 PM.

Important Dates and Examination Details

The examination for these subjects is scheduled for December 15, 2024. The exam will consist of two papers conducted within a three-hour duration. One paper will cover general subjects, while the other will focus on the selected subject. Examination centers will be established in various cities across Madhya Pradesh, including Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Satna, Rewa, Sagar, Ujjain, and Ratlam.

Minimum Educational Qualifications and Guidelines

Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree to be eligible for the exam. The MPPSC has uploaded guidelines for the examination on its portal. According to these guidelines, candidates belonging to the General and EWS categories must score a minimum of 55%, while candidates from the OBC, SC, and ST categories are eligible for a 5% relaxation, requiring a minimum of 50% marks in the examination.
