Including the Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) requirement. However, this has now been replaced by the Genuine Student (GS) policy, indicating a stricter evaluation process. One of the most notable changes is the adjustment in English language test scores. The required IELTS score has been raised to 6.5 for Temporary Graduate visas and to 6.0 for regular student visas. Additionally, the validity period of English language test scores has been reduced by one year, adding further pressure on applicants to meet these heightened standards.
