On March 9, Saturday, oil companies announced revised rates for petrol and diesel in various states.

Several states, including Bihar, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana, have witnessed a decrease in fuel prices. In cities like Satna, Anuppur, Burhanpur, Rewa, and Sheopur, there has been a noticeable increase in petrol and diesel prices. In Satna, petrol prices have risen by nearly ₹1, reaching ₹111.15 per liter. Anuppur, Burhanpur, Rewa, and Sheopur are also witnessing petrol prices above ₹111 per liter and diesel prices beyond ₹96 per liter.
