Petrol and Diesel Prices Witness Changes in Several Cities of Madhya Pradesh

On Wednesday, the prices of petrol and diesel were revised in various cities across Madhya Pradesh, along with other states such as Bihar, Gujarat, among others.

As per the latest updates, the global crude oil prices have dipped below $90 per barrel in the market. Consequently, fuel rates were adjusted by companies on April 10. Notably, several districts in Madhya Pradesh observed an increase in fuel prices, particularly in Devas and Dhar, where both petrol and diesel prices surged by more than one rupee.

Moreover, other cities such as Singrauli, Tikamgarh, Vidisha, Anuppur, Ashok Nagar, Badwani, Betul, Burhanpur, Chhatarpur, Chhindwara, Gwalior, Harda, Indore, Jabalpur, Jhabua, Khandwa, Mandla, Ratlam, Rewa, Sagar, Shajapur, and Shivpuri also experienced an uptick in fuel rates.

Conversely, several districts in Madhya Pradesh witnessed a decline in fuel prices. Among them are Balaghat, Betul, Bhopal, Guna, Hoshangabad, Jabalpur, Katni, Mandsaur, Morena, Narsinghpur, Rajgarh, Sehore, Seoni, Sidhi, Ujjain, and Umaria.

In Bhopal, the price of one liter of petrol stood at Rs 106.29, while in Gwalior, it was Rs 107.04, in Indore Rs 106.50, in Jabalpur Rs 106.28, in Dhar Rs 108.21, in Rewa Rs 109.20, and in Ujjain Rs 106.98.

Diesel Prices in MP

For diesel, the prices per liter were Rs 91.68 in Bhopal, Rs 92.90 in Devas, Rs 92.45 in Dhar, Rs 92.37 in Gwalior, Rs 91.90 in Indore, Rs 91.70 in Jabalpur, Rs 94.36 in Rewa, and Rs 92.32 in Ujjain.

Changes in Other States

Apart from Madhya Pradesh, several other states in the country also witnessed fluctuations in fuel prices. Assam, Bihar, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal saw a slight increase in fuel rates. On the other hand, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Odisha, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh experienced marginal decreases in fuel prices.
