On April 2, 2024, there have been changes in the prices of petrol and diesel in several states including Madhya Pradesh (MP). There has been an increase in crude oil prices in the global market.
Changes in Fuel Prices in MP
There has been a slight increase in fuel prices in Madhya Pradesh. The average price of petrol in MP is 107.44 rupees per liter, and diesel is priced at 92.75 rupees per liter. In several districts including Alirajpur, Betul, Bhind, Chhindwara, Hoshangabad, Katni, Mandsaur, Narsinghpur, Satna, Sehore, Seoni, Sidhi, Ujjain, Umaria, and Vidisha, there has been a hike in fuel rates. However, there has been a reduction in rates in cities like Tikamgarh, Sagar, Rewa, Rajgarh, Raisen, Mandla, Khandwa, Jabalpur, Dewas, Datia, Chhatarpur, Burhanpur, Bhopal, Balaghat, and Anuppur.
Petrol-Diesel Prices in MP
In Bhopal, the price of one liter of petrol is 106.11 rupees, while in Gwalior it is 106.40 rupees, and in Indore it is 106.40 rupees. The price of diesel per liter is 92.19 rupees in Ujjain, 94.06 rupees in Rewa, and 93.01 rupees in Khandwa. In Jabalpur, it is 91.90 rupees, in Indore it is 91.80 rupees, in Gwalior it is 78 rupees, and in Bhopal it is 91.52 rupees.
Status in Other States
On Tuesday, there was a slight increase in petrol and diesel prices in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal. On the other hand, there was a decrease in fuel prices in Assam, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. In Delhi, the price of petrol is 94.76 rupees per liter, in Mumbai it is 104.19 rupees, in Kolkata it is 109.93 rupees, and in Chennai it is 100.73 rupees. The price of diesel per liter is 87.66 rupees in Delhi, 92.13 rupees in Mumbai, 90.74 rupees in Kolkata, and 92.32 rupees in Chennai.
