Summer Vacation: Arunachal Pradesh, famous as the land of the rising sun, is an incredibly beautiful and scenic place. Tawang Monastery
The largest Buddhist monastery in India, Tawang Monastery, stands as a testament to the Tawang War Memorial, a 40-foot structure. Situated near Tawang, a small town in the Tawang River valley, it attracts tourists of all kinds, not just Buddhist pilgrims.
Bum La Pass
This mountain pass is located in the Himalayas between Arunachal Pradesh, India, and Tibet’s Lahoka Division. Situated at an altitude of 15,200 feet, 37 kilometers from the town of Tawang, it is a picturesque location nestled amidst triangular mountains. It is where the Dalai Lama sought refuge upon his arrival from Tibet. There are several Buddhist monasteries here as well.
Sela Pass
Sela Pass is the only route connecting the West Kameng district with Tawang. It is a sacred pilgrimage site for Tibetan Buddhists. Buddhists believe that there are 101 holy lakes here. This place is also very beautiful.
Nuranang Waterfall
Also known as the Nuranang Waterfall and Bong Bong Waterfall, it is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in our country. Water falls from a height of 100 meters here, which will leave your eyes wide open.
Sangestar Tso Lake
This lake is a favorite of tourists, and people come from far and wide to see it. Crystal clear water and dark clouds in the sky are worth seeing. Several films have also been shot here.
