In his post, PM Modi wrote that democracy is the biggest festival, and every vote is precious, and every voice matters. He appealed to the youth to vote in large numbers as voting for the first phase is underway for 102 seats across 21 states and union territories.

He said that it is his special appeal to all the young voters who are going to cast their votes for the first time to vote in large numbers and set a new record. He stated that every vote counts in a democracy, and every voice is significant.
Voting begins for the first phase
It is to be noted that voting has commenced today for the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Voting is underway for a total of 102 seats across 21 states and union territories. The voting started at 7 a.m. and will continue until 6 p.m. This year’s Lok Sabha elections will be conducted in a total of seven phases.
