He has now provided a major update on ‘Salar Part 2’. Prithviraj Sukumaran has revealed what preparations Prashant Neel has made for ‘Salar Part 2’ and when the shooting will begin.
Currently, Prithviraj Sukumaran can be seen in the film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, which was released in theaters on April 10. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in lead roles. Additionally, he is in the spotlight for another film, ‘The Goat Life’. ‘Salar’ narrates the story of two friends whose deep friendship turns into enmity. In this film, the roles of these friends were played by Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Prithviraj Sukumaran will commence shooting soon
He revealed in an interview with ‘Variety’ magazine that the shooting for ‘Salar Part 2’ will begin in the coming days. He said, “Prashant has prepared an amazing and fantastic shooting plan. I will take time out from shooting for the film ‘Empuraan’ and shoot some scenes for ‘Salar 2’.”
Prithviraj Sukumaran further stated, “I believe that ‘Salar Part 2’ will definitely be released in 2025. However, when and how it will happen depends on Prashant Neel and the production house, Hombale Films.” The budget for ‘Salar Part 1’ was 200 crore rupees, and it earned approximately 705 crore rupees.
Prithviraj Sukumaran currently has three films lined up for release, including ‘L2: Empuraan’ and ‘Vilayat Budha: Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’. Meanwhile, Prabhas will be seen in the much-awaited film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.
