The movie “Shree” is based on the life of Shreekant Bolla, a prominent businessman. Now, a substantial update has emerged concerning this film.
Recently, Rajkummar Rao took to his Instagram to share some crucial details about the film. He posted an update where the title of the film has been changed from “Shree” to “Shreekant.” Alongside this change, he also disclosed the film’s release date. In the caption, he wrote, “An incredible true story that will open your eyes.” Previously titled “SRI,” “Shreekant” is set to release on May 10, 2024, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.

Alongside Rajkummar Rao, Jyotika and Alaya F will play pivotal roles in the movie. Additionally, Sharad Kelkar will also be featured in the film. The film is directed by Tushar Hiranandani, with Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani serving as producers.
Apart from “Shreekant,” Rajkummar Rao has several other projects lined up. Last year, his film “Bheedi” failed to make a significant mark at the box office. Following that, he will be seen with Janhvi Kapoor in the movie “Mr. and Mrs. Mahi.” Furthermore, he is set to appear in the sequel of the hit film “Stree,” titled “Stree 2,” slated for release this year. Subsequently, he will be seen in the video with Vicky Vidya, co-starring Tripti Dimri.
