In accordance with the Right to Education (RTE) Act, the verification of applications for admissions in private schools in the state for the upcoming academic session 2024-25 is in full swing. As per the latest information, a total of 10,135 candidates have applied in the district for the session, out of which 7,336 verifications have been completed so far. Following the verification process, the RTE lottery for admissions is set to take place on March 13.
Swift Verification Process Across District Schools
Verification of applications for admissions under the Right to Education Act is swiftly progressing in private schools across the district. For the upcoming session 2024-25, a total of 10,135 candidates have submitted applications, with 7,336 verifications completed to date. Post verification, the lottery for admissions in private schools will be conducted on March 13. This lottery will determine the allocation of candidates to educational institutions for higher studies.
District-Wise Application and Verification Statistics
In schools affiliated with the Depalpur region, 939 applications were received, out of which 787 have been successfully verified, showcasing a commendable verification rate. Similarly, in Mahu, 759 out of 968 applications have undergone successful verification, reflecting a high verification rate. The overall verification rate stands at an impressive 78.41%.
Golden Opportunity for Free Education under RTE
Under the RTE Act, economically weaker and marginalized families have the golden opportunity to avail free education for their children. The online lottery for admissions will commence on March 13, through which selected candidates will be granted admission to educational institutions for higher studies.
Second Phase Admission Process Starting on March 22
The second phase of the admission process will commence on March 22, with the lottery scheduled for March 28. Selected applicants will be able to download their allotment letters between April 5 and take admission in the allocated schools.
