Samsung is providing an offer for free display replacement for certain smartphones. Users can avail of this benefit until April 30. This service is available for handsets that are out of warranty. The display can be replaced free of cost only once. While this offer has been ongoing since last year, the deadline is approaching soon.
Eligibility for the Benefit
The free display replacement offer is available for select devices. Initially, it was available for the Galaxy S20 series and the Galaxy Note 20 series. However, now users of the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S22 series can also get their mobile display replaced for free. Additionally, Samsung is offering free battery and kit replacement as part of this offer.
Reason Behind Samsung’s Launch of the Offer
Last year, some Samsung devices reported issues with green lines on the display. In response to this, the company initiated the offer of free one-time display replacement. This issue was mostly observed in Super AMOLED displays. Users of the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22, and Galaxy Note 20 series who face complaints of green lines on their smartphone displays can get them replaced without any cost by the end of this month.
