In Bihar, the Education Department has issued a notification regarding changes in the timings of government schools due to increasing heat. Government schools will observe summer holidays from April 15th to May 15th. Special classes will be conducted for students not participating in the annual exams for classes 9th and 11th during the holiday period. These classes will be held from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and all teachers are required to be present at the school premises by 8:00 AM.
Changes in School Timings in Varanasi
In Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi district, the timings of schools from classes one to eight have been altered. Schools will operate from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM starting from April 10th until the onset of summer vacations. It’s worth mentioning that summer vacations in UP schools will last for 41 days, starting from May 21st, 2024, until June 30th, 2024.
School Timing Adjustment in Kashmir
In Kashmir, the Directorate of School Education has changed the school timings for schools in the Kashmir division. Schools within the Srinagar Municipal Corporation limits will operate from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, while those outside these limits and in other districts of the Kashmir division will operate from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
