Candidates should note that the application process for the SSC Junior Engineer Exam 2024 is ending today, Thursday, April 18th. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released a notification for the recruitment of 966 vacancies for Junior Engineer positions in various ministries, departments, and organizations of the central government on March 28, 2024.
During the online application for the SSC JE Exam 2024, candidates are required to make a payment of ₹100 as specified by the commission. However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Persons with Disabilities are exempted from paying the fee. Candidates can also choose to pay the examination fee offline through bank challan.
Interested candidates can apply on the official website of the commission, ssc.gov.in, until 11 PM today.
Who Can Apply for SSC JE Exam 2024?
Candidates eligible to apply for the SSC Junior Engineer Exam 2024 must have completed an engineering diploma in the relevant trade from a recognized technical education institution. Additionally, candidates’ age should not exceed 30 years as of August 1, 2024, except for positions in CPWD and CWC, where the maximum age limit is 32 years.
