Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Today marks the first Ram Navami celebration in Ayodhya, which is being observed after the consecration of Ram Lalla in the newly constructed temple. At noon, in an auspicious moment, a Surya Tilak will be applied to Ram Lalla for 3 minutes. It is noteworthy that today the temple gates opened at 3:30 AM, earlier than the usual time of 6:30 AM. Devotees will have the opportunity to have darshan until 11:30 PM, allowing for a 20-hour window of visitation.
Abhishek with Milk
Following the opening of the temple gates, a religious ceremony included an abhishek of Ram Lalla with milk and adorned him with decorations. Devotees continued to offer their prayers. The morning saw the Mangala Aarti, and approximately 600,000 devotees have already arrived in Ayodhya. Long queues are observed at various paths leading to the temple complex. After the Shayan Aarti, the temple gates will be closed at 11:30 PM.
Incident Outside Hanumangarhi
However, an incident occurred outside Hanumangarhi where a curtain fell from the railing, injuring two female devotees and two female police officers. The police have yet to provide details on this incident.
Devotees Arrive in Ayodhya by Foot
On this special occasion, 40 devotees from Jaipur covered a distance of 700 kilometers on foot to reach Ayodhya. They carried 750 grams of silver Paduka, an eternal flame, and a flag during their journey, chanting the name of Lord Ram. Today, they visited the Paduka and Hanumangarhi, took a dip in the Sarayu River, and will dedicate their offerings to Ram Lalla.

Ram Lalla is adorned today in splendid yellow attire, symbolizing the sun’s radiance. He wears a golden crown, magnificent necklace, and other ornaments studded with gemstones. The puja includes offerings of roses, lotuses, marigolds, champas, and jasmines, symbolizing divine garlands.”
