Oil companies have updated the rates for petrol and diesel on March 14. In states like Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, and Telangana, there has been a slight increase in fuel prices today. Conversely, states like West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Manipur, Maharashtra, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh have witnessed a decrease in fuel prices. Meanwhile, in the global market, crude oil prices continue to surge, with Brent crude reaching up to $84.22 per barrel and WTI priced at $79.88 per barrel.
Current Situation in Major Cities
There have been no changes in fuel prices in major cities across the country today. In Delhi, the price of petrol stands at Rs. 96.72 per liter, while diesel is priced at Rs. 89.62 per liter. In Mumbai, petrol is priced at Rs. 106.31 and diesel at Rs. 94.27 per liter. Kolkata witnesses petrol prices at Rs. 106.03 and diesel at Rs. 92.76 per liter. Chennai experiences petrol prices at Rs. 102.63 and diesel at Rs. 94.24 per liter.
Fluctuations in Madhya Pradesh
In cities like Agar Malwa, Anuppur, Ashoknagar, Balaghat, Bhopal, Chhatarpur, Dewas, Dhar, Indore, Jabalpur, Panna, Ratlam, Rewa, Satna, Shajapur, Shivpuri, Tikamgarh, and Vidisha, there has been a slight increase in fuel prices. However, cities like Ujjain, Sidhi, Shahdol, Narsinghpur, Morena, Mandsaur, Khargone, Katni, Jhabua, Hoshangabad, Harda, Damoh, Chhindwara, Bhind, Betul, and Alirajpur have witnessed a decrease in fuel prices.
In Anuppur, Balaghat, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Rewa, and Sheopur, petrol prices have crossed Rs. 111 per liter, while diesel is priced above Rs. 96 per liter. In Ujjain, petrol is priced at Rs. 109 per liter, with diesel selling at Rs. 94.25 per liter. Bhopal in Rajasthan sees petrol prices rising to Rs. 108.75 per liter and diesel at Rs. 93.99 per liter. Indore witnesses petrol at Rs. 108.70 per liter and diesel at Rs. 93.97 per liter. Jabalpur experiences petrol at Rs. 108.72 and diesel at Rs. 93.99 per liter.
